श्रमिक मंत्र,देहरादून। मुख्य सचिव डॉ.एस.एस.संधु की अध्यक्षता में को सचिवालय में प्रदेश में ईको टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा दिए जाने हेतु गठित उच्च अधिकार प्राप्त समिति की पहली बैठक आयोजित हुई। मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि ईको टूरिज्म के क्षेत्र में पर्यटन,वन,आयुष और अन्य विभाग अपने-अपने स्तर पर विभिन्न कार्य कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी विभागों द्वारा पर्यटकों को इस ओर आकर्षित करने के लिए एक सम्पूर्ण पैकेज की दिशा में कार्य करना होगा। इसके लिए ही इस उच्च अधिकार प्राप्त समिति का गठन किया गया है।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि ईको टूरिज्म की दिशा में आज हो रही गतिविधियों से 100 गुना अधिक सम्भावनाएं हैं। ईको टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा देने के लिए सभी सम्बन्धित विभागों को एक साथ मिलकर एक कंप्लीट पैकेज की दिशा में कार्य करना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन, वन, ग्राम्य विकास और आयुष को मिलकर ईको टूरिज्म योजना पर कार्य किया जाए। उन्होंने वन विभाग द्वारा संचालित विभिन्न ईको टूरिज्म गतिविधियों की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने कहा कि पर्यटन विभाग को भी वनों के आसपास के क्षेत्र में पर्यटन गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने की आवश्यकता है, साथ ही आयुष विभाग इन्हीं के आसपास अपने वेलनेस सेंटर या हर्बल गार्डन जैसी गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा दे तो पर्यटकों को एक साथ सम्पूर्ण पैकेज मिलने से पर्यटन को बहुत अच्छा बूस्ट मिलेगा।
मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि देश-विदेश में हर्बल उत्पादों की बहुत अधिक मांग है। उत्तराखण्ड इस मांग को पूरा करने में बहुत ही अधिक सक्षम है। साथ ही, पर्यटन गतिविधियों में हॉर्टी टूरिज्म के साथ जोड़कर ईको टूरिज्म की दिशा में कार्य किया जा सकता है। मुख्य सचिव ने वन पंचायतों को इसमें किस प्रकार से जोड़ा जा सकता है, इस पर मंथन किए जाने के भी निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने पर्यटन विभाग को सभी क्षेत्रों के लिए गाईड प्रशिक्षण प्रोग्राम को बड़े स्तर पर किए जाने के निर्देश दिए। इस अवसर पर प्रमुख सचिव आर.के.सुधांशु, सचिव सचिव कुर्वे,बी.वी.आर.सी. पुरुषोत्तम,डॉ. पंकज कुमार पाण्डेय एवं विजय कुमार यादव सहित अन्य उच्च अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
